To guarantee ideal execution and to protect the life of your pressure washer we recommend that you have your hot pressure serviced regularly to prevent faults from occurring with your machine. These faults can be dangerous when dealing with hot jet washers because the burners use diesel fuel in most cases and any spillages or build up of this can result in hazards. During our pressure washer repairs and servicing, we ensure that all fuel systems are safe for use, to eliminate any danger from the equipment.
PC Jones Service Centres are a Premier Kärcher Service and Repair Centre, and are ready to supply the best level of service and repair to your washer. By using original manufacturer components throughout, we guarantee that we will maintain manufacturer specifications giving you the peace of mind that your machine are going to be maintained to the best standard.
When using your pressure washer or steam cleaner you want to be confident that the machine is electrically and mechanically safe for use. On every service or repair we carry out electrical, mechanical and burner control system tests. Electrical safety checks include: earth bonding, insulation and condition of the supply cable. A running load test of the machine is then completed.
Mechanical safety checks include: safety pressure switches, the safety by pass and pressure relief valve. The pump is then calibrated to operate at the correct working pressure alongside all the safety switches and safety valves.
Burner safety checks include: the safety flow switch, flame sensor, thermostat and the burner flue temperature sensor. All high pressure hoses, guns and lances are inspected for signs of damage or leaks to prevent operator injury and ensure machine reliability.
The motor pump unit on hot and cold power washers will pump water at a high pressure of 1500psi and above. The load on the motor pump unit requires regular maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of your Kärcher power washer.
At PC Jones service Centres we will ensure that the motor pump unit is running correctly by checking for bearing wear, damage to seals as well as oil and water leaks. The motor pump unit also requires all safety switches, by pass valves and pressure relief valve to be striped inspected and then calibrated to ensure safe operation.
The burner system on your Kärcher jet cleaner requires regular maintenance to ensure the machine heats water safely and efficiently. To achieve this on service the heating coil will be dismantled, all carbon deposits are removed, burner flame gaskets and ignition electrodes are inspected. The fuel system will be drained, and a replacement fuel filter and fuel injection nozzle fitted.
After all the maintenance has be carried out the burner will be re-calibrated to ensure water is heated correctly reducing emissions and obtaining maximum heat output from the heating coil. Finally, the safety control system on your Kärcher hot water pressure washer will be inspected to ensure that the burner is switching on and off at the correct interval when required ensuring safe operation of the steam cleaner.
